Life is serious, business is serious, serious food? Yes to all of the above; however, if we can make one person smile and perhaps laugh our day is complete. If we can turn you on to new culinary delights (yummy foods) even better! We offer sophisticated food and wine in a fun environment. Our cheese advisors will walk you through a deli case that may seem unfamiliar, and by (buy) the time you've gone through it you've gone around the world having fun while exciting your taste buds. Almost two decades on Maui, I moved here when I was ten! Just kidding! That sense of humor thing kicking in again! Working in several industries on the island, mostly in the food and beverage, I know the market and what our community needs. We are no longer a cheese and specialty food deprived community! My first job when I moved to Maui was opening and managing a deli--The Island Deli, which ironically was in Azeka One, Makai. Moving from Seattle, a pretty food savvy community, I thought it would be cool to offer Proscuitto ham from Italy. The rubbish consumed most of it. Sad but unfortunately true. Now, I have people cry, "you have Serano Ham from Spain!" What a difference several years passing and thank you food network! None of us are culinary institute trained--we are just food enthusiasts--we love food! That's why Who Cut The Cheese is sooo much fun.
