Big Hit from the "Let's do Italy" monthly wine & cheese tasting
Sottocenere cheese paired with a lovely red, Vin Santo from Castello di Brolio.
We have missed having a Vin Santo in the store. This dessert wine is perfect for our warm temperatures, in that it is light on the palate yet drinking like your favorite Tawny Porto without being too viscious. Sottocenere is a ultra rich cow’s milk cheese laced with black truffle. The ultimate in decadence to! The rind has 16 spices which remind us of Christmas; hence, we often refer to it as the Christmas cheese to help people remember it.

New in the Wine Cellar
Bodega Lurton Pinot Gris, Mendoza, Argentina
A Pinot Gris from Argentina…really? The country is known for Malbec and we thought the Torrontes varietal was fun, but this one is great too, and a heck of a value at $11.99. The Lurton brothers from France found perfect cool growing conditions at the foothills of the Andes for this French varietal. Thanks to their talent in worldwide winemaking and unique location, we now have something new and special to offer you! It's lemony with good acidity and citrusy fruit. Try it with a little Piave from Italy with also has citrus accents.
New at Who Cut The Cheese
Margaret’s Goji Berry and Pistachio Crisps
These are just as crisp and yummy as the pumpkin & cranberry, and they are good for you!
New Face in the Cheese Case

Roth Surcroix Grand Cru Gruyere ~ a domestic Gruyere from Wisconsin. Well, this cheese is finally available on the west coast and now in Hawaii is the world renown Roth Gruyere. It's simply brilliant... dancing on your palate with hints of sweetness and nuttiness... yummerlicious!!! This award winning cheese is certainly a bright new face in the case!
